[PART 1] ONCE UPON THE TIME MALAYSIA

Long Time No See. First sentence to greet you. Due to I had my trip in Malaysia from May 4, 2016 until May 12, 2016, I haven't publish anything on my blog (since Applebee's). So, for this blog's existence (LOL) let me tell you about my experience in Malaysia for about 8 days there on this post. Before you go further, I will split the post into some parts to make it readable and don't get you bored.

Day 1 (May 4, 2016)
Hello Holiday! I've already planned for this trip since October 2015 and before I entered the new office, I had said on interview session with my boss, i will have my block-leave in 4-12 May, 2016. My mom and my sister join me on this trip. Since they have never been in Malaysia, I will be the tour leader. To tell you the truth, this is my first time become a leader. So, I've prepared the itinerary about 3 months ago. For the first day, we went to the Soerkarno-Hatta International Airport and we had been scheduled in Terminal 3 (AirAsia). We were so on-time, we arrived at 10 o'clock.

Overall Terminal 3
This was my first time here at Terminal 3 and the terminal was still new. You can see some shops open on the left side and the right side. Bakmi GM, Starbucks, Rotiboy, Circle K, and many more.

Let's FLY
As my habit, i will sleep on the plane to re-charge my energy. When I arrive, I would be so FULL ENERGY to face my trip.

After about 1,5 hours flew in the sky, I could see the Malaysia island from the plane.
Arriving Soon
Stood up from the seat, prepared our belonging and we were ready to check out from the plane. HELLO KUALA LUMPUR!!
Please, Get Off My Way
Now, I'm gonna show you my experience at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA 2). As I quoted from Wikipedia :
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is Malaysia's main international airport and one of the major airports in South East Asia. Built at a cost of US$3.5 billion in Sepang district of Selangor, it is located approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) south of Kuala Lumpur city centre and serves the Greater Klang Valley conurbation. KLIA is the largest and busiest airport in Malaysia. In 2015, it handled 48,938,424 passengers and 726,230 tonnes of cargo. It is the world's 23rd-busiest airport by total passenger traffic.

Pay Attention On The Direction
Since KLIA 2 has the wide area, you must walk through by just following the direction to claim your baggage. There are vehicles that will take you to Baggage Reclaim area but you must wait until they come. I prefer walking than riding that vehicles. In my opinion, I will get more experience by walking.

World Map
After seeing this world map, you will arrive the Immigration Border in some steps. I was busy on my immigration check, so I forgot to take some shots. Let's skip that one and move into the next level outside the immigration border.

When finished the immigration thing, I went outside into the Baggage Reclaim Hall. But the first thing that you can see before reach the Baggage Reclaim Hall is Wine Store.

This was our first day arrival on KLIA2, so we didn't buy anything here (Wine Store). We just looked around and felt amazed with the store concept.

Soon, we could saw our luggage cleary. We took our luggage immediately in excited mood and we went the next level. Hey, It is the REAL KLIA2! I'd rather say "MALL" than airport. You can buy anything here. I think you would spend more time here. It is WORTH.

Let's Shopping Here
At KLIA2, I had the sudden reunion with my old friend from my hometown, Pontianak. They are Ricky Liu, Op Sandri, Hery, and Angi, Long time no see them, hmm.. I think about 8 month since our last met at the previous company and they are still working there. Fortunately, we had the same schedule for May 4 - May 6, 2016. We met each other outside the DIGI store at KLIA2. How sudden it is. Let me introduce them for you.

1.5 flight made us hungry. But before finding something to eat. We better checked the Aerobus schedule because we went straight to Genting after that. So, we got the ticket and was scheduled at 5 PM. The ticket price was RM 35 per person.

Hmm, this belly couldn't be more friendly anymore. We went to Quizinn at KLIA2 and was attracted by amazing collection of Yong Tau Fu Singapore.

I was totally shock afterwards. Why was this Yong Tau Fu completely different with Indonesia's? Sorry to say, I prefer Malaysia's than Indonesia's. Look at the photo, there were so many Yong Tau Fu spread on the trays. For those who love to eat at Yong Tau Fu Indonesia's outlet, you better confirm my opinion here at Malaysia.

I ordered SET A (4pcs Yong Tau Fu + Vegetable + Soup/Tom Yum/Curry)
Taste 8.5/10
This Yong Tau Fu had a big portion (for me). I was so full and we were ready for about 2 hours journey to Genting via Aerobus. Again, we slept on the bus and we just skipped the photoshot.

Wohooo!! We Arrived
This photo was taken at the main lobby of the most popular hotel of Genting, First World Hotel. Hurry-hurry. Let's do check-in.
Check-in Machine
I realized that Check-In system was totally different. In 2014, we could do the Check-In things at receptionist table. Today, we can do the Check-in things via machine. If i didn't make a mistake, I still remember about what the receptionist said. He said that for those who booked the room via Agoda (online), must do Check-In via machine. The conclution is you still have to see receptionist before you do Check-In by yourself via machine.

After got a room key from the machine, we went to our room at 14th floor by Lift.
Room Perspective
Because of Genting is built in Mountain area, the weather was so cold. We didn't find any Air Conditioner inside the room. In the sleepy face, we put our things and prepared ourself for the next visit at Genting Highland. Soon, we arrived at First World Hotel lobby again and had some shots.

Today we just did the little thing here. Very sleepy because of the tiring journey to Genting and it took time to reach here.. Before checking-out, let's cheer up the tiring day by doing selfie.
Sleepy Getting Stronger
This is the end of the Part 1. In the Part 2, I will tell you more about Genting Highlands. Sorry, I am so late to publish the Part 1 because I am busy recently. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know. You can also ask me by writing in the comment section below. See you on Part 2.

Bye Bye...
