[SANTAN FOOD FEST 2017] AIR ASIA REDQ

Sorry guys, I have been postponed the release of this blog. I lost the draft (DAMN SAD). And I have to remember section by section that I wrote before and make a new draft. So, stay on spirit and lets start.

For you guys who don't know about what I'm talking about on the prologue. Just skip that and read from this paragraph. On this blog, I wanna share about my experience the couple weeks ago at AirAsia RedQ (RedQuarter), Kuala Lumpur. I was invited by AirAsia Indonesia to have a big event there called SANTAN FOOD FEST (meal on board). This is my first time to have an event like this and you will know how excited I was. You know what, I met TONY FERNANDES, YAY!!
SANTAN FOOD FEST
We travelled from Soekarno Hatta Airport, Indonesia (Terminal 2F) at 8AM and arrived Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) safely at 11AM. AirAsia RedQ is located about 600 metres from KLIA2 if you take a walk reaching there. Before that, we had lunch first at Nando's and the food was amazing

Here's my previous review for this PERi PERi CHICKEN on Instagram "How come the taste of "PERi-PERi CHICKEN" from @nandosmy is felt like still on my tastebud and make my mine keep thinking about its deliciousness. Origanally, @nandosuk comes from UK and my friend @makansampaikenyang on his vlog that Nando's had ever opened in Indonesia but It's closed. So, in the chance visiting Kuala Lumpur yesterday on @airasia "Santan Food Fest" event, we come to @nandosmy before it. All Nando's A-grade chicken are marinated for 24 hours in secret sauce until the flavour goes right through to the bone. Also being flame-grilled (reduces fat) and basted in your choice of Nando's PERi-PERi sauce (Hot or Extra Hot) which keeps the chicken succulent and tender. Once you visit Malaysia, don't forget to find @nandosmy you will absolutely love it.

Soon after lunch, we prepared ourself to go to AirAsia RedQ by walking. We had to walk about 600 metres from KLIA2 and the weather was so hot. The sun shone so brightly and you guys guess what did happen to my small eye because of the light. Feel exhausted but it was OK when we were closer enough to the AirAsia RedQ. All it took about 15 minutes to reach AirAsia RedQ from the back.
AirAsia RedQ
As always, self portrait is a must. It marked you ever been here.

Why White Works
As we entered AirAsia RedQ from the back, I could feel the crowd of the event from the distance. Count down 3, 2, 1...
SANTAN FOOD FEST
A good first impression when we got here. Amazing place, Working Space but looked like Mall (Shopping Center) The hall is so so damn wide. That wood chair and table were suitable for the event. They had us to feel like a picnic while tried their in-flight meal that introduced on that day.

Press Conference
Everybody (blogger, media, and influencer) from about 10 countries gathered around while to listen Opening Speech by Tony Fernandes, CEO of AirAsia (right side), Dun Deramun, AirAsia Tune Qpr Caterham Epsom Kuatagh, and that bald guy. I forgot his name. Will find out his name. Scroll for more.

At the end of press conference, the dancers prepared their self to perform as opening act.

Another Toxic
Dance Crew
Let me guess, all the dance crew are the AirAsia flight attendant (correct me if I'm wrong) But the special one is the man in the middle position of the group. I didn't know what made him special. Everybody yelled at him once he come out to the stage and applaud for him. But I realized then, he appeared on the AirAsia in-flight magazine and his name is ASSRAF NASIR, a cabin crew of AirAsia. Read this!

"When a video clip of AirAsia X cabin crew Assraf Nasir dancing to Britney Spears' iconic Toxic onboard an AirAsia X aircraft was posted on Twitter, little did he know that his performance would be picked up by international media, and shared hundreds of thousands of times on social media. The online sensation talks to us about his instant fame and how he is handling all the attention"

After the dance show, Tony Fernandes gave some cooking demo, but I missed it. We better get going to the Food Section. I just only show some of SANTAN food they have. For the full version, you can have your own flight with AirAsia and check Magazine behind the seat. I think it is just available for flight that related to Malaysia. Will gonna make sure about this and tell you soon.
SANTAN FOOD FLATLAY
Santan, also known as coconut milk, is liquid that comes from grated coconut flesh. Santan is a popular ingredients and cooking base used by many in Southeast Asia because of its rich flavours, undeniable  health benefits and the ability to be used in various cooking styles. AirAsia said that they pride themselves in serving the best Asean meals on board using Santan as one of the core ingredients in many of our meals. So the next time you start wondering why their meals meals taste so good.
