Today I'm gonna show you my last experience at Pancious that located at Pacific Place, Jakarta. To celebrate the Hot Summer, Pancious has launched new menus in "HOT"and "COLD" sensation. Have you prepare yourself for awesome surprise from Pancious? Let's check them out!

Coffee Cupping Explanation

Before tasting the new menus, Pancious held the Coffee Cupping by inviting the expert in Coffee Industry. We got some explanation before the cupping. To tell you the truth, I still don't get about the rule in Coffee Cupping. Even the expert has gave me the explanation. We were asked to guess what type of coffee by smelling and tasting (don't use any feeling, just trust your nose and tongue). Here is the coffee what I'm talking about

Some of us were wrong guessing the type of Coffee, but some of us were right. But, we had so much fun doing this Cupping. Absolutely, we got new experience here. Look, my other friends do!

After that, we move into the next session. I'd rather say the Main Session. Yes, Food Tasting. We got chance to taste the new menus first before launched the next day.

1. Truffle Chips (IDR 48.5K)
Fried chips infused with truffle salt served with truffle dipping sauce

Salty Truffle Chips

I love this menu so much because I'm a fries lover. Besides that, this fries has a thick texture and authentic salty. BITE-ABLE and YUM!! RECOMMENDED indeed.

2. Fresh Fruit and Hot Chocolate Sauce (Round : IDR 50.5K / Tri-angle : IDR 60.5K)
Kiwi, Strawberry and peach served with your pancake choice, ice-cream, whipped cream and our special hot chocolate sauce

That colour of the fruit is so eye-catching

I'm gonna just say OK to this menu, because I don't like its Chocolate Sauce flavour. I don't know what kind of  Chocolate they used. I think the taste is not too strong. 

3. Honeycomb and Hot Salted Caramel Sauce (Round : IDR 45K / Tri-angle : IDR 55K)
Honeycomb crumb, ice-cream, whipped cream and steaming hot salted caramel sauce with your choice of pancake

All Brown

This one taste better than "Fresh Fruit and Hot Chocolate Sauce". Love when the caramel, ice-cream, whipped cream blend crazily into one. Awesome combination. 

4. Pan Seared Duck Breast (IDR 195K)
Pan seared duck breast on a bed of Chef's Special mashed potato, shimeji mushroom and spinach on the side

The meat was so tender and you will taste the Perfect Blend (Ingredients + Meat) when you bite it.

5. Grilled Truffle Chicken (IDR 89K)
Chicken thigh with blackpepper and truffle sauce served with baby potato and smoked beef bits.

Finger-Licking Good

When there was a potato on the dish, It will gonna be my favourite. Like this menu, I love eating the potato than the chicken. Nothing special to its chicken thigh, just like a common roasted chicken. 

6. Green Peas Soup (IDR 48.5K)
Beautiful peas crafted into a bowl of appetizing soup accompanied by crispy garlic butter crouton.

In The Green

Hmm. totally dislike the taste. It is not my favourite. But, for those who love green peas, this menu would suit to you.

7. Roasted Carrot Soup (IDR 48.5K)
Roasted carrot turn into a soup with a smoky flavour, hint of celery and crunch of croutons

In The Yellow

Looks like curry sauce. But it is the colour of CARROT. Very delicious, luscious, and mouth-watering. If I go back to Pancious, i will order this dish again.

8. Crispy Chicken Burger (IDR 75K)
Chicken fillet fried with homemade spices and topping, coleslaw between two fluffy buns

Like a common burger taste and It has no different on its appearance.
